A note on the Amazon ads: I've chosen to display current events titles in the Amazon box. Unfortunately, Amazon appears to promote a disproportionate number of angry-left books. I have no power over it at this time. Rest assured, I'm still a conservative.

I know the feeling: One of the bloggers over at the Kotaku videogame site arranged for an e-mail interview with the world's worst director, Uwe Boll.

I ended up sending Uwe Boll about 15 questions, none of which could be possibly answered with a single word. He responded within the day, and managed to answer most with little more.

Nearly a decade ago, when I was working at the Lompoc Record, I sent a letter to the Air Force brass in the Pentagon asking about the nuclear detonation sensors that are on each GPS satellite. I bet you didn't know they have those sorts of sensors on all those satellites. I didn't either, and I thought it'd make an interesting story. So, I typed up a letter with about a dozen questions that you couldn't answer with a simple yes or no. I was wrong. The response was like a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing -- my questions were much, much longer than the answers.
