Just plain nuts: Ms. Cindy "absolute moral authority" Sheehan has penned a missive over at Michael "I'm a genius in France" Moore's Web site which includes this whopper:
George Bush needs to stop talking, admit the mistakes of his all around failed administration, pull our troops out of occupied New Orleans and Iraq, and excuse his self from power.
I can't make this stuff up. You read that right "occupied New Orleans." I wonder if Maureen Dowd will back up Ms. Sheehan's demand in her next columns to get all of those evil troops out of New Orleans.
I encourage you to read the rest of the letter. That the mainstream media could ever portray this woman as the face of the intelligent opposition is proof that a fraud has been committed against the public. This woman is completely nuts, but you had to go to the Internet to find that out. The Big Three evening newscasts weren't interested in accurately reporting just what kind of wacko Sheehan is.
Don't be surprised if you don't find this in your morning paper. Don't be surprised if the next reporter to interview her doesn't bring up this little piece of insanity. Nope, she's got absolute moral authority, but she doesn't have a grip on reality.
