A note on the Amazon ads: I've chosen to display current events titles in the Amazon box. Unfortunately, Amazon appears to promote a disproportionate number of angry-left books. I have no power over it at this time. Rest assured, I'm still a conservative.

That horse has left the barn: Dan Rather was interviewed by The Washington Post's Howard Kurtz and had the following to say:
"If the documents are not what we were led to believe, I'd like to break that story," Rather said in an interview last night. "Any time I'm wrong, I want to be right out front and say, 'Folks, this is what went wrong and how it went wrong.' "
For those not familiar with journalistic terms, to "break" a story is to be the first one to report it. Unfortunately, with this story, that's already been done.
