The original document: The blogosphere, with the help of several experts, have determined that CBS News' Killian documents are not the product of a 1970s era typewriter. Using my extensive journalistic contacts, I've confirmed what many know: the documents were created using Microsoft Word.
But that's not all of the story. I have been provided with one of the original Killian documents. It turns out it was retyped for readability.
So, there you have it. Scandal over.
