Good story: If you haven't read about President Bush's chance meeting with the daughter of a 9/11 victim, then you should.

On a jaded political note: This sort of thing is a problem for Sen. John Kerry, because I can't imagine him doing something like this. He's got that Al Gore stiff aloofness. Even if he were to try to make a conscious effort to be more personable, I'm not sure he could pull it off.
