A note on the Amazon ads: I've chosen to display current events titles in the Amazon box. Unfortunately, Amazon appears to promote a disproportionate number of angry-left books. I have no power over it at this time. Rest assured, I'm still a conservative.

How can you tell when Paul Krugman is lying?: If he's breathing he's lying. That's something that Powerline's John Hinderaker found out when he went to check out New York Times columnist Krugman's assertion that USS Bataan, a multipurpose amphibious assault ship, was never mobilized to help victims of Hurricane Katrina.
Don't expect a correction to be forthcoming. The New York Times editorial page allows its writers to find their own "truth," which usually isn't the real truth.
