A note on the Amazon ads: I've chosen to display current events titles in the Amazon box. Unfortunately, Amazon appears to promote a disproportionate number of angry-left books. I have no power over it at this time. Rest assured, I'm still a conservative.

You've got to be kidding: A report released Friday on "abuse" of the Koran at Guantanamo Bay reveals that Muslim prisoners have abused the "holy" book three times more often than the infidel guards.

Color me unimpressed with all of the brouhaha over the Cuban "gulag" and the outrage over the treatment of the Muslim "holy" book. Compare the treatment of these terrorists to how the Saudis treat Christians in their country or what they do to the Christian holy book.

The media attention this issue has received is wildly out of proportion to its real world importance. The lengths that they have to go to to create some backing for Newsweek's flawed story is appalling.
