A note on the Amazon ads: I've chosen to display current events titles in the Amazon box. Unfortunately, Amazon appears to promote a disproportionate number of angry-left books. I have no power over it at this time. Rest assured, I'm still a conservative.

Dumb Dems: Presidential adviser Karl Rove Wednesday night called liberals soft on terrorism. Thursday, Democrats demanded Rove's head on a platter.

Capt. Ed has helpfully gathered quotes and links that unfortunately document liberal wimpiness on the war on terror, including MoveOn.org's petition in the immediate aftermath of 9/11:

"We, the undersigned, citizens and residents of the United States of America and of countries around the world, appeal to the President of The United States, George W. Bush; to the NATO Secretary General, Lord Robertson; to the President of the European Commission, Romano Prodi; and to all leaders internationally to use moderation and restraint in responding to the recent terrorist attacks against the United States. We implore the powers that be to use, wherever possible, international judicial institutions and international human rights law to bring to justice those responsible for the attacks, rather than the instruments of war, violence or destruction." [emphasis added]

MoveOn.org is the activist heart of the Democrat Party.

Democrats can whine all they want, but this really isn't something that the Democrats should want to have a debate about. I'm trying to think of something more stupid that they could have decided to do, and I really can't think of anything.
