A note on the Amazon ads: I've chosen to display current events titles in the Amazon box. Unfortunately, Amazon appears to promote a disproportionate number of angry-left books. I have no power over it at this time. Rest assured, I'm still a conservative.

Those who do not know their Python: In the continuing debate over whether or not John Kerry honestly won Wisconsin by some 11,000 votes George W. Bush won Ohio by more than 100,000 votes, Rep. John Conyers attempts to invoke the wisdom of Monty Python and gets it wrong.
The exit poll discrepancies are to the evidence that massive disenfranchisement occurred in Ohio, as the canary is to the detection of harmful gases in a coal mine. When a canary dies in a coal mine, that alone is not proof positive that something is wrong (maybe the cause of death was just old age or as John Cleese once said, maybe he is "just sleeping").
Incorrect! It was Michael Palin who theorized that the Norweigan Blue was "sleeping". John Cleese ridiculed the possibility.
On a related note: Jim Lampley continues to remove all doubt.
