A note on the Amazon ads: I've chosen to display current events titles in the Amazon box. Unfortunately, Amazon appears to promote a disproportionate number of angry-left books. I have no power over it at this time. Rest assured, I'm still a conservative.

In brief: A few quick notes on today at Hoystory.

We have confirmed visual evidence that the world's greatest niece is capable of bipedal motion. She also really knows how to eat birthday cake -- she gets that from her uncle.

I spent much of today doing spring cleaning at Hoystory World Headquarters. I'm not sure whether I got a headache from the fumes from all of the cleaning products I used or from the actual housecleaning itself. Either way, I think cleaning is overrated.

I caught a little bit of Hugh Hewitt's show on the radio today. Hugh wasn't on, and he didn't have the guy from Sacramento, whose name I don't recall, filling in for him. Instead, he had a man and a woman, whose names I can't be bothered to remember, and the guy was the most mis/uninformed talk show host since Alan Colmes. The guy was under the mistaken impression that it took bloggers two weeks to expose the CBS News forged documents -- it took twelve hours. The guy believed that the forged documents could've been created by a typewriter -- anyone who has ever used a typewriter knows that couldn't be true.

On a videogame/techweenie note: I must say that last week's MTV unveiling of the Xbox360 was exceptionally bad television. On the other hand, any G4TV program with Morgan Webb in it is always very good television.

Comments:
PS3 won't have Halo3 -- but let's set that aside for the moment. PS3 is going to come out 6 months later. It will have blu-ray -- can you say "betamax"?

However, I'd be willing to reconsider my opinion if someone who works at Sony could get me an review copy of the console and maybe a behind-the-scenes tour.
