A note on the Amazon ads: I've chosen to display current events titles in the Amazon box. Unfortunately, Amazon appears to promote a disproportionate number of angry-left books. I have no power over it at this time. Rest assured, I'm still a conservative.

Godwin's law: Former Klansman and current senator from West Virginia, Robert C. Byrd, went to the floor of the U.S. Senate and gave a speech comparing Republicans to Hitler and the Nazis.

Byrd is old enough that he should know the difference between the two -- and if he doesn't he needs to be put in a home. Godwin's law states: "As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches one."

I guess that we have the Byrd Corollary to Godwin's Law: "When the Democrat Party resorts to comparing its opponents to Nazis, it's no longer a relevant participant in American politics."

Radioblogger is all over Byrd's slander, including a fisking, a response from the GOP and the curious silence of the mainstream media.

Too bizarre - like a lecture on drunken driving from Ted Kennedy, or plagarism from Joe Biden...
