A note on the Amazon ads: I've chosen to display current events titles in the Amazon box. Unfortunately, Amazon appears to promote a disproportionate number of angry-left books. I have no power over it at this time. Rest assured, I'm still a conservative.

Super Bowl thoughts: I always thought that the team that won the AFC would win the Super Bowl. I was right. The Philadelphia Eagles' clock management in the waning minutes was infuriating -- not because I'm an Eagles fan -- but simply because of the astounding incompetence it demonstrated. You're down 10 points with 6 minutes on the clock and you're huddling up and walking to the line of scrimmage?

Funniest commercial has to go to the Emerald Nuts bit with the father being challenged by a unicorn, Santa, the Easter Bunny and others after he lied to his daughter about what would happen to them if he gave her any of his Emerald Nuts.

Hoystory's Super Bowl MVP goes to former Charger Rodney Harrison. He played great, with two interceptions, one sack and seven tackles.
