A note on the Amazon ads: I've chosen to display current events titles in the Amazon box. Unfortunately, Amazon appears to promote a disproportionate number of angry-left books. I have no power over it at this time. Rest assured, I'm still a conservative.

The Rodney Dangerfield of the blogosphere: I'm thinking that I might use that for my new tagline. I don't get no stinkin' respect. Today's "Best of the Web Today" column points to this humorous blog post from the Stanford Review blog. If you go there, you'll find that the post is oddly similar to this one I posted a day earlier.

Now, I must confess that I didn't tip off James Taranto to my original post, so I probably have only myself to blame. Then again, shouldn't Taranto be reading Hoystory daily? OK, Taranto has no excuse. Moving on.

My real complaint is this: Taranto has used tips/news items I've sent him in the past and included my name among those he thanks at the bottom of the column. But he's never actually linked to Hoystory, despite entreaties to do so.

Mumble, mumble !!$#&)@(*&$!

I blame conservative media bias. And global warming.
