Crime round-up: Today's Union-Tribune crime briefs contain four violent attacks. Only one of them used a firearm; two were knives and the last was a broken bottle.

If people want to hurt other people, gun control won't stop it from happening.

I'd have thought the UK as enough proof of that.
 
And if those assaults were with guns instead, would the same amount of injuries be described as not life-threatening? Let's try for a little intellectual honesty here.
