Amazon Honor System Click Here to Pay Learn More

A note on the Amazon ads: I've chosen to display current events titles in the Amazon box. Unfortunately, Amazon appears to promote a disproportionate number of angry-left books. I have no power over it at this time. Rest assured, I'm still a conservative.

Good for the goose: Democrats love to make fun of how President Bush mispronounces "nuclear" as "nucular". Well, I'm starting to get annoyed at how John Kerry pronounces "idea". There is no "r" at the end of the word.

Comments:
One key difference: "ideer" is a regional dialect, while "nukeyouler" isn't right in Texas or anywhere else.

I think the Kerry folks must be getting some negative feedback on that. Just this morning, I heard an audio clip in which Kerry says the word twice in a couple of sentences. The first time, it was quite clearly "ideer". The second time, a studied "idea".

Remember that the "smartest" president we ever had was once, in his own words, a "nucular" engineer. I am also sorry to say that I voted for him (1976) before I voted against him (1980).
