A note on the Amazon ads: I've chosen to display current events titles in the Amazon box. Unfortunately, Amazon appears to promote a disproportionate number of angry-left books. I have no power over it at this time. Rest assured, I'm still a conservative.

Letter to Fox News Watch: I'm watching Fox's media criticism show -- one that should be an hour long, but is only half that -- when pundit Jim Pinkerton makes mention of the Swift Boat Veterans for truth and refers to them as Sen. John Kerry's "fellow officers."

Neal Gabler jumps in and claims: "Not fellow officers."

Jim, rightly, disputes: "They are his fellow officers."

Neal: "They didn't serve on the same boat."

The point is then made that it was one officer per boat and these guys served on boats alongside Kerry.

Anyway, getting to the snarky letter I e-mailed to the show.

Eric, Neal Gabler’s claim that the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth aren’t Kerry’s “fellow officers” because the didn’t serve on the same swift boat is a lot like claiming that Cal, Jane and Jim aren’t his “fellow pundits” because they aren’t sitting in his lap.

Look for it on next week's show -- maybe.

Nice one. Gabler is D*****bag.

That is nothing compared to Lanny Davis on Hannity and Colmes last night. It seems that nobody except the people on Kerry's boat have any right to testify about what they saw. They are all liars. It is truly pathetic that those who would not believe that GWB served in the National Guard and demanded irrefutable evidence that he was there (Time Machine?) would dismiss any claim that JFK was less than absolutely correct and truthfull in everything he said. And we'll sue you if you say otherwise... Lanny Davis breathing is a waste of good air.
