A note on the Amazon ads: I've chosen to display current events titles in the Amazon box. Unfortunately, Amazon appears to promote a disproportionate number of angry-left books. I have no power over it at this time. Rest assured, I'm still a conservative.

Congratulations: We here at Hoystory would like to congratulate the Puerto Rican Olympic mens basketball team for beating a bunch of arrogant, egotistical multimillionaires from the United States.

Comments:
Why does PR have its own Olympic team, though? Did you know that Puerto Riquenos can compete for the US team, too, if they choose to? Gee, I wonder if us regular US-ians can compete for the PR team. It is, after all, a part of the US, just like the US Virgin Islands. Why don't French overseas territories like Guadeloupe and Martinique have their own teams?
