A note on the Amazon ads: I've chosen to display current events titles in the Amazon box. Unfortunately, Amazon appears to promote a disproportionate number of angry-left books. I have no power over it at this time. Rest assured, I'm still a conservative.
Friday, July 09, 2004 Lay's day in court: Former Enron CEO Kenneth Lay was hauled into court yesterday. This will thankfully silence some of those who have carped for years about President Bush's supposedly cozy relationship with the former Enron head.
Kerry spokeswoman Stephanie Cutter was all too quick to suggest that the friendship between Mr. Lay and President Bush had led to special treatment, calling the indictment "three years too late."
Execution first. Trial later.
