Sing it again, Willie: Country music legend and tax cheat Willie Nelson has endorsed Rep. Dennis Kucinich's bid for the Democratic presidential nomination.

"I am endorsing Dennis Kucinich for president, because he stands up for heartland Americans who are too often overlooked and unheard," Nelson said. "A Kucinich administration will put the interests of America's family farmers, consumers and environment above the greed of industrial agribusiness."

Which reminds me of my junior year of high school when I went to the Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge Youth Leadership Conference. The first night there, as a kind of ice-breaker, we were put in small groups and told to come up with a skit. I don't remember a whole lot about the skit I did, but it did include Willie Nelson and had the following line:

"Willie, your headband's on too tight."
